Aloe Vera or "Lidah Buaya"

This plant is grown in many places such as in Indonesian and Africa. Finely grow in tropical area and better in rainy area such as in Indonesia, but also can grow in Arabian and in Madagascar that is less of rain.

Aloe Vera as biological name, in Indonesia called “lidah buaya,” have used for many purposes, as shampoo and as medicine, American said “American aloe,” this plant have rosette of large, thick with fleshy leaves. The leaves are often lance-shaped with a sharp apex and a spiny margin. Aloe flowers are tubular, frequently yellow, pink or red and are borne on densely clustered, simple or branched leafless stems.

Inside the leave skin contains a jelly flesh with green color, this jelly usually will take in shampoo industry as mix of their material and also can use as medicine. This jelly flesh can also cook usually mixed with ginger and use as certain medicine. After cooked this jelly will change their feature become harder like seaweed, beside changed their physical characteristic the smell also will removed. Aloe vera is Aloe species, aloe species are frequently cultivated as ornamental plants both in gardens and in pots. Many Aloe species are highly decorative and are valued by collectors of succulents.
