Gardenia

The gardenia is a flowers like shrub that planting in the garden because of their beautiful flowers. This plant is originated from China that is produces glossy white flowers. The composition of leaf and a big flower make this plant suitable for planted to decorate a wide garden.


The genus Gardenia comprises several species of flowering shrubs or small trees that belong to the madder family, Rubiaceae. Their flowers are sweet scanted. Gardenias are native to subtropical regions of the eastern hemisphere, where they grow outdoors, but they are also grown extensively indoors in greenhouses. Because of their need for warm, moist conditions, gardenias do not thrive as houseplants. Cape Jasmine, G. jasminoides, is bushy shrub up to 1.8 m (6 ft) tall with glossy evergreen leaves and waxy white, heavily scented flowers with nine petals each.
